What is Therapeutic stretches?
There are two types of stretches that can be used for therapeutic or healing purposes. First, static stretches where the person performing the stretch is not moving while keeping a muscle in an elongated state. Second, active stretching where the person performing the stretch is in movement such as dynamic stretching.

A: Stretching allows us to increase and maintain flexibility with age
Q: Who can benefit from stretching?
A: Although everyone can benefit from stretching, people with specific biomechanical conditions are strongly encouraged to stretch!
Q: When can someone benefit the most from stretching
A: Although stretches can be perfomed at any given time of the day, it is usually most beneficial after physical activity.
